Know and Tell Friday!

Question 1Did you eat candy this Valentine’s Day? I did not eat candy. But I DID eat Girl Scout Cookies. Lots and lots of Girl Scout Cookies.

Question 2What is something you do to relax? Read. Blog.

Question 3(From Poole’s book) What is the best approach for resolving conflict? Ew. I don’t do conflict well…so rarely do I have to resolve it! But, if it happens, I think the one on one with a neutral third party is helpful.

Question 4(Poole’s book again) How would you define “freedom”? (this could probably be a bonus question). Yow…you don’t ask the easy ones! Freedom…my father fought in the Vietnam War for it. Freedom…my ancestors fought in the Civil War for it. Freedom…my Lord and Savior died on the cross so that I may have it.

Question 5(Poole’s book) On a scale of 1-10, how happy do you usually feel? Explain. Pretty darn happy except for the days when the hormones kick into overload and then, as my daughter says, LOOK OUT.

Bonus QuestionsQuestion 6If you could choose one “SIN” that you would never have to struggle with for the rest of your life what would it be? Selfishness. Hands down. Think of all the other sins that flow off it…pride. Jealousy. Greed. You name it.

Question 7What is one thing that breaks your heart? The most heartbreaking thing for me is to see/hear about abused children.

  5. I really like your answer about freedom. Sounds like there has to be sacrifices made in order to have freedom, not just spiritual freedom either.
